Hummus (v)
Perfect snack or meal with intense flavors! Use as a dip with raw veggies, toasted pita bread, as a sandwich spread, or as a dressing. This isn’t raw since the chickpeas were cooked. I’ve tried using raw soaked chickpeas and am not a fan thus far. Any suggestions for raw hummus recipes?

2c cooked garbanzo beans Hummus or 1 15oz can (save the bean liquid in either case)
1/4c Tahini Hummus
5T lemon juice
1t sea salt
1t ground cumin Hummus
(optional) 2-4 cloves garlic, depending on your taste for garlic
(optional) paprika

Combine everything in a food processor Hummus (except paprika) and process until smooth. Add bean water as needed and to obtain the consistency you want, e.g. more liquid to create a “dressing” as used here or less to make a dip or sandwich spread. Add a dash of paprika on top for ascetic appeal.

Tip: Experiment with different flavors like 1-2 chipotle peppers marinated in Adobo sauce as pictured here or sun-dried tomatoes, green onions, etc.
