I don’t think Sloppy Joes need much describing…hearty, comforting, filling food. This recipe uses something new to make something tried and true – crumbled tempeh, a soy product that is often used to mimic meat, though tofu would work too. This is served on a sprouted wheat bun with some curly kale, which makes it just a bit less sloppy until, of course, you pick it up to eat.
